Office 2021 - Home and Business (Same as above, but also has Outlook). With Office standalone, it's for 1 user and for 1 device only.
It's a perpetual license, meaning that you buy it one time and the software doesn't need to be paid for again.
There is also a standalone copy of Microsoft Office. With Office 365, you are always on the latest versions of the software as it gets updated over time. You can split up the cost of Family by sharing it with other people if you want, Microsoft is okay with that. Each person gets 1TB of OneDrive space, and they get unlimited installs of Office on any device they have. With Office 365 family, you get access from 6 different Microsoft accounts. With 1 user, you get 1TB of OneDrive space and unlimited installs of Office on any device you have. Or you buy Office 365 family and it's $99.99 a year. You have 2 options, you buy the Office 365 for 1 user and it's $69.99 a year (USD). And they have since renamed Office 365 to Microsoft 365.so if you see those 's the same thing.
You don't buy an activation code or key to register the software, instead you pay a monthly subscription cost to use the software. Office 365 is a subscription model for the office suite. Is a different story, I understand that it is purchased with a one time payment. Thinking subscription is the only way of paying for Office 365 - Office 2019 Obviously Office 365 would be a better option than eg Office 2019 due to all updatesīut does a subscription free version exist - on ebay, there are sellers who are I now need to get MS Office again and don't want to fall into the same trap "sign in - add this computer to an active account" Everything worked for about a year and a halfĪnd then a message popped up on all applications when they were opened: I didn't have a good understanding of the license/subscription model, the I ask because about 2 years ago, I bought a cheap Office 365 key on ebayĪnd the description of the advert indicated the key was not time limited.
Hopefully this quick easy fix will work for you and save the hassle downgrading to 32 bit or even reverting back to Office 2013.I would appreciate if someone could clarify how the licensing/subscription This easy fix worked for us straight away however according to Microsoft forums some users suggest that after Outlook has been closed and reopened several times the problem comes back, although we have not experienced this yet! Untick “Reduce message size by removing format information not necessary to display the message” Navigate to the Mail section and scroll down to Message Format This isn’t a great solution and so until Microsoft release a fix we found a quick way of resolving this issue:
The particular problem seems to lie with the 64 bit version of Office and does not seem to have been reported on any 32 bit version causing some users to downgrade to 32 bit. Whilst displaying html content should not be difficult for an email application, many users with 2016 seem to be experiencing it (see here - ). Having upgraded to Office 2016 Professional earlier this month I have come across a frustrating issue within Outlook – an email with html content is not displayed correctly, the alignment is all off and a horizontal scroll bar is displayed so you have to scroll right to see any content.
UPDATE: Unfortunately this issue has returned after using Outlook for a while, however closing and reopening Outlook seems to fix it again (temporarily).
